Xenia Koghilaki
Xenia Koghilaki stammt ursprünglich aus Athen, lebt und arbeitet in Berlin im Bereich der darstellenden Künste als Tänzerin und Choreografin. Sie ist Absolventin der National School of Dance of Greece, der Fakultät für Architektur der Universität Patras und hat einen MA-Abschluss in „Solo/Dance/Authorship“ des HZT Berlin. Koghilaki stellt den Körper in den Mittelpunkt ihres Interesses, während sie in ihrer Praxis ästhetische, politische und soziale Aspekte des sich bewegenden Körpers untersucht. Ihre Arbeiten wurden u.a. bei den Tanztagen Berlin, den Onassis Dance Days, dem Onassis New Choreographers Festival, dem Arc for Dance Festival und der K-Gold Temporary Gallery präsentiert. Als Tänzerin hat sie u.a. mit Kat Válastur, dem Chto Delat Kollektiv und der Hellenic Dance Company zusammengearbeitet. Koghilaki ist Danceweb-Stipendiatin und wurde 2022 mit dem Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Artist Fellowship von ARTWORKS ausgezeichnet.
