Makisig Akin + Anya Cloud/The Love Makers Company
Makisig Akin (they/them) ist queere*r und transgender Choreograf*in, Tanzkünstler*in, Koordinator*in und Aktivist*in. Akin ist auf den Philippinen aufgewachsen und lebt derzeit in Berlin. Akins Arbeit konzentriert sich auf die Anerkennung intersektionaler Identitäten, die Wiederherstellung der Verbindung zu seinen*ihren Vorfahren und die Dezentralisierung westlicher Ideologien durch Tanz.
Anya Cloud (she/they) stammt ursprünglich aus Alaska und lebt derzeit in Colorado und Berlin. Als queere, weibliche, weiße Person richtet Cloud die Arbeiten darauf aus, radikale Lebendigkeit als künstlerisch-aktivistische Praxis zu entwickeln, wobei die Kollaboration im Mittelpunkt steht. Seit 2023 leitet Cloud gemeinsam mit Makisig Akin die Love Makers Company.
stevie gunter (alle/keine Pronomen) ist ein*e afropresentistische*r Musiker*in, DJ und Archivar*in. stevie hat einen Bachelor-Abschluss in Soziologie, einen Master-Abschluss in Bibliothekswissenschaft und ist seit mehr als einem Jahrzehnt selbst- und Community-gelehrt in den Medien von Sound und Haut unterwegs.
