Enad Marouf
Enad Marouf ist ein syrisch-deutscher Performance- und Videokünstler, der in Berlin lebt. In seiner Arbeit stehen Körper und Text im Mittelpunkt. Dabei nutzt er Video, Tanz, Sprache und Installation als Poetik und als Artikulationen von Zeitlichkeiten, die unsere Körperlichkeit und die Art und Weise, wie wir die Welt um uns herum erzählen, beeinflussen. Er absolvierte seinen Master in Choreografie und Performance am Institut für Angewandte Theaterwissenschaft in Gießen/Frankfurt. Seine Soloarbeiten und Kollaborationen wurden u. a. in den Sophiensælen, auf der Athen Biennale, auf dem Kunstenfestivaldesarts Brüssel, am Centre culturel Francais de Damas, dem Babel Beirut, der Tate Modern London, am Art Institute of Chicago, der Shedhalle Zürich, auf Kampnagel und in der Neuen Nationalgalerie Berlin gezeigt. 2023 wurde er mit dem renommierten Will-Grohmann-Preis ausgezeichnet.
