Cassie Augusta Jørgensen
CASSIE AUGUSTA JØRGENSEN arbeitet als Tänzerin und Choreografin. Sie hat ihr Showgirl-Dasein durch die Zusammenarbeit mit Theater-, Kunst- und Tanzschaffenden perfektioniert. Jørgensen verfügt über eine Ausbildung in klassischem und modernem Tanz. Sie arbeitet mit der Vorstellungskraft ihres inneren Auges, mit tiefen, schweißtreibenden und langen Improvisationssitzungen, mit christlicher Moral und Pornos, mit Menschen, die sie inspirieren, mit ihrem Tagebuch, mit vielen Filmen, mit anderen Tänzern wie Valeska Gert und anderen Pantomimenlegenden, mit Frauen und natürlich damit, dass sie ein Trans-Girl ist, das sich zur Tragödie in all ihrer Lebendigkeit hingezogen fühlt. Jørgensens Wunsch und Ziel ist es, Löcher und mehrdeutige Räume in der Geschichte und der Tanzgeschichte zu schaffen, über neue Erzählungen und Fiktionen der Live-Performance und andere Formen nachzudenken.
