Auro Orso
Auro Orso ist Tänzer und Choreograf mexikanisch-österreichischer Abstammung. Seine künstlerische Forschung umfasst die Erforschung dekolonisierender Praktiken in allen Lebensbereichen sowie die Infragestellung der westlichen/kolonialen Illusion von Universalität, (Gender-)Binarität und „dem Angemessenen“. Er gibt Workshops und entwickelt Projekte zur Stärkung queerer BIPoC-Communities, hat als Performer mit Maria Scaroni, Anta Helena Recke und crazinisT artisT zusammengearbeitet und seine choreografische Arbeit unter anderem im Haus der Kulturen der Welt und im dock11 gezeigt. Er absolvierte den B.A. Tanz, Kontext, Choreografie am HZT Berlin und wurde mit dem Supporting Act Foundation-Stipendium sowie dem nGbK-Stipendium ausgezeichnet.
