A physical and metaphorical race against time: The performers navigate a world that values productivity above all else. The tyranny of time becomes a force of constraint and urgency, amplifying the stakes of the performers’ pursuit of autonomy in a system that demands efficiency without acknowledging diverse experiences. This piece delves into the complexities of marginalized bodies in a society that prioritizes output over well-being, questioning the cost of constant productivity and the possibility of reclaiming one’s self within its relentless march. As a compelling exploration of power, play and the merciless passage of time, the work confronts the intersection of neurodivergence, body dysmorphia and societal pressures.

Omar Sherif is a queer Berlin-based interdisciplinary artist. They work in art direction and set design, with a Bachelor‘s degree background in Architecture and a Master‘s degree in Stage Design and Scenography. Their work is focused on film, performance and editorials. Storytelling, narration, diversity and inclusivity are what their passion is and how the space can change in different ways to tell diverse and different stories and engage the audience. The spatial transformation and paradoxical of Humanities, Sociology, Architecture, Space Design and Storytelling help them not just to design a space but to create an experience and a journey through.
Alma Almeida has been annoying the queer Berlin scene for a couple of years. They hold Bachelor‘s degree in Visual Fine Arts whilst doing nothing and everything related to it. They have co-curated biennials, performed, written, given classes and workshops and more recently directed and produced several short movies and music videos for independent artists. They are interested in creating and helping to create stories that go against the normative narratives imposed. And we don’t think they are planning to stop anytime soon.
